Digney & Company regularly books clients on ESPN shows like “Cold Pizza” and both ESPN and FOX Sports cover OUR clients for events, most recently our big “Stars & Sticks” celebrity hockey tournament and the Frankie Muniz/”Cody Banks 2” celebrity “HoopLA” basketball tournament that has featured hot young stars like Nick Lachey, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Simpson, etc.
We’ve regularly done the NBA-affiliated Summer Pro League in the summer, which gets huge coverage (we’ve even had several ESPN magazine covers with it), have been the pr firm for the Boston and Los Angeles marathons, ESPN’s 25th Anniversary, and worked with many sports companies, like Asics-Tiger, Fubu and Reebok, and worked on the Summer Olympics where we had various athlete clients, such as multiple Gold winning swimmer, Gary Hall, Jr., on board. And, of course, we’ve worked with every major promoter, from Don King to Bob Arem, and represented and worked with any number of athletes, including Jason Kidd, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Jim Brown, Franco Harris, Tommy Lasorda, to name a few.
Among other high profile, “blue ribbon” sports related events and activities in which we have been involved, Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night, the Bob Hope Chrysler Desert Classic, Pismo Beach Golf Course, The Frank Sinatra Celebrity Golf Tournament, the Evander Holyfield All Star Weekend, the Harlem Globetrotters tour, the American Basketball Association, USA Sports Centers, Grand Prix Racing, Caesars Palace Boxing and Celebrity Tennis Tournaments, the Super Bowl, the Final Four, the Los Angeles Dodgers, L.A. Marathon.
We have worked with a number of program suppliers over the years, including Warner Bros., Telepictures, Lorimar, 20th Century Fox, Universal, Paramount, King World, etc.
We’ve also handled many “tent pole” TV events, from the legendary “Who Shot JR?” campaign to the equally milestone-like “Final M*A*S*H Episode,” “Trista and Ryan,” “Star Search,” etc. We even repped the “Roseanne Show,” and Roseanne, which, as you know was an ABC staple for years.
We’re one of the few firms that have spanned five decades -- with talent and skills that represent all the demos and specialties -- promoting both businesses and projects and are equally at home in the sports and entertainment worlds and have high level contacts in both fields and their related trade and consumer medias.
Most importantly, we’re one of the most creative outfits around. After all, we’re the guys who, two years ago, came up the idea of making THE POPE, the late JP II, an “Honorary Harlem Globetrotter” for our client and pulled all the right strings to make it happen, right there in St. Peter’s Square before the world press!
